To be honest, I had honest intentions of joining in last week but with Peter leaving for the summer and saying our goodbyes in C-Ville, I knew that I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible and didn't want to worry with any goals. (Hey, it happens, right?)
So, why not start today? My thoughts exactly (and plus, they're mostly in line with my major Summer 2012 goals--win-win situation for all!).
Without further ado...
- Workout 5 out of 7 days this week. My coworkers and I are beginning Insanity today after work so I don't think this should be a problem. Plus, I'm a workout junkie anyway.
- EAT HEALTHY! (Okay, one exception being today because we totally had a pot luck at work--I can't say no to that :)). No cookies, chocolate, more fruits & veggies... you get the idea.
- Cook a meal for myself. Let's be honest, when Peter's not around, I NEVER cook. I'm lazy and would rather just hash out a salad or pop something in the oven and call it a day. This week I'd like to actually make something from scratch!
- Do something creative. No guarantees here but I'd like to start a project.. big or small, it doesn't matter.
There you have it. Not huge goals but who said goals have to be major life changing things? Not this kid.The second goal will by far be the hardest (I.LOVE.CHOCOLATE!) but I think I can do it. :)
What are your goals for the week?!
Sarah
ooph, good luck with Insanity! I've never tried it myself but I've heard it's, well, insane. Can't wait to hear your thoughts! Just remember - be patient with yourself :)
ReplyDeletetotally hear you on being creative! i'm not creative..even a little. i struggle with stick people, can't sow a button on - squat. but i recently made a collage box to save money in and i liked it. it was therapeutic like writing is sort of!
ReplyDeleteour goals are a lot the same - i love we all are striving to be healthy :) its always nice haha. how are you finding insanity? i hope to try it when im closer to my goal weight and more in shape. i want to be able to at least execute the exercises when I start aha.
great goals this week! have a good one. x
bailey.
insanity is definitely tough but it's a great workout! i loved (well, sort of!) every minute of it and felt great afterwards! i'm really interested to see how the rest of the DVDs are. :)
DeleteOne of my goals for this week is to tame my sweet tooth! My sweets cravings goes pretty crazy after dinner which always turns into chocolate treats :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all of your goals! I've never done insanity only because I've been intimidated. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you!
i totally feel you on the sweet tooth. i'm OBSESSED with chocolate! pretzel m&m's are my absolute fav. so hard to say no! i've been going for a banana or orange after dinner and that's helping me a LOT! :)
